In the spotlight: HOWTO: Move your iTunes music while preserving library data (when you don't let iTunes manage your music library)

About the HiFi Blog

We’re covering the latest major/interesting news, reviews and deals on the portable audio market, applying as big a filter possible to get the important stuff out.

This means we’re focusing mostly on the big players of the portable audio market, so it’s unlikely you’ll see “yet another 512MB flash-based player by some unknown company” covered here, unless it’s really special.

Staying in sync

There is no regular posting schedule—it all depends on the value of the posts. If nothing interesting happens, nothing is posted—posting for stats’ sake is (a) ridiculous and (b) disrespectful to our readers. (If you want 12 posts per day with half being about the usual rebranded Korean DAPs and the other half about iPod accessories, there’s always Engadget or Gizmodo.)

You can always subscribe to our feed or our mailing list (refer to the respective box on the sidebar) to get the latest posts in full in your feed reader or inbox.

Getting in touch

If you’d like to get in touch, email us.

You’re welcome to request a product review but please note that this is (still) our hobby and we don’t have a ton of spare time left, so please don’t take it personally if we say no.

Also: if you’re willing to spam our inbox with your press releases, but aren’t willing to send a review sample when asked to, you’re in the wrong business and you’re bound to make your company a bad name.

If you happen to be into drums, I have a website that will soon have a Blog attached to it. The current website is selling an Ebook that I created on how to build a drum set. Spread the word. It’s not a profitable endeavor. I just love drums!
