First look: iRiver T10
CNET Asia (those lucky bastards, they always get to check cool things first) takes a first look at iRiver’s first flash-based player with Janus support (a.k.a. your tracks from subsciption-based services will play fine in this device).
Let’s have a look at the specs:
- comes in 512MB and 1GB versions
- measures 85.8×40.8×29.4mm
- weighs 49g
- four-line color LCD screen
- 90dB SNR
- five-band user EQ
- FM tuner
- FM & voice recording
- plays MP3, OGG, WMA (DRM) files
- uses single AA battery, rated to 45 hours
In typical iRiver fashion, the sound is good. The unit is comfortable to hold and operate, but it’s not exactly tiny and it feels kinda heavy. The FM tuner reception is excellent, and there’s no no line-in recording feature.
Shipping has begun for this unit.
