Briefly: More iPhone, iPod mini & shuffle rumors, Prior art for ‘Zen patent’, T-Mobile to carry iPhone, iRiver U10 pics, Magnatune Collections
- iPod mini to move entirely to flash and color, shuffle and phone details emerge (Sept. 7 devoted to the iPhone only and iPhone users will be able to download tunes over-the-air for $2; two weeks later in Apple Expo Paris, iPod mini to get a color screen besides going flash and Shuffle to see 2GB bump—as with all rumors, take what’s written here with a grain of salt)
- Prior art for the ‘Zen patent’? (skip to the second comment by UK Rio Engineer—known poster in the Riovolution forums too—though he’s obviously not speaking on record for his employer; if you don’t know what the ‘Zen patent’ is, this previous post of ours should help)
- Apple’s iPod to set European mobiles ringing (“Germany’s T-Mobile, the mobile phone arm of Deutsche Telekom , said at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin that it planned to sell a musical mobile phone that can access iTunes, made by U.S. vendor Motorola Inc., by Christmas in Germany.”)
- More iRiver U10 pics (another set of pictures here) [via]
- “Collections” feature now available on Magnatune (think of them sub-genres; this one of many great additions/changes to come in the world’s least—as in, zero—evil label)
