No Jobs keynote at Apple Expo Paris
Steve Jobs won’t be delivering his keynote speech at Apple Expo Paris, according to the company’s statements today.
“While this year’s apple expo will not feature a formal keynote presentation members of Apple’s executive team will be hosting a Q&A session for members of the media on the opening day and will be at Apple Expo throughout the week,” Apple spokesperson, Bill Evans, told MacCentral. Jobs will be present at this Q&A session.
No reason was give for the cancellation (the keynote was mentioned in the Apple Expo website, but it’s now gone as noted by Macworld UK); could it be that the products he was about to present (flash-based color-screen iPod minis, and larger capacity iPod shuffles) will be further delayed due to production problems? Or maybe we don’t need a Jobs keynote to see new iPods?
Apple Expo Paris will open on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 11:00 AM local time (GTM+1).
