Briefly: Nano screen problems, Baxter CD/DVD Duplicator, iTunes 5.01, Nokia 3250, i-Bead 700, Nano review
- Problems surfacing with iPod Nano screen (we’ve reported on this last week; iPodNN noted that iPodResQ raised its iPod nano screen replacement by a wooping 50 bucks to $145 “due to LCD availability and overwhelming demand”; the Register thinks Apple, who has “no comment” for the time being, will improve the polycarbonate formula for the Nano’s screen silently soon, leaving first adopters in cold water; also read the respective thread on Apple’s discussion boards)
- MF Digital BAXTER is CD/DVD Duplicator (feed it with up to 25 discs, and let the mass ripping start; connects to the PC via USB; $895 though, ouch) [via]
- iTunes 5.01 is out (“features several stability improvements” that apparently fix the problems that surfaced in the Windows version)
- Nokia 3250 music phone does the twist (I’m not really into the whole cellphones-as-music-players concept, but this one looks like one of the most decent of the bunch; “features a twisting bottom half, this lets users switch between the mobile phone and the MP3 player controls with just a snap”; comes with a 1GB microSD card, costs €350; also read Gizmodo’s report)
- Pictures: i-Bead 700 (looks like the DAH-1500i, but it’s a bit bigger than mobiBLU’s offering; cool-looking UI; no word on US availability) [via]
