Preview: iAudio U3, flash-based MP3 player with FLAC support
iAudio U3 is probably the first flash-based player to support FLAC. There’s Ogg Vorbis support too, and you can also use the 260K color LCD screen to view your “Xvid Mpeg4 with 160×128 @ 15 fps” videos. FM tuner and line-in/voice recording are nice extas. (More specs here.) If it only comes in 512MB/1GB versions, it’s a bummer—you’d expect a 2GB version for a device that does FLAC and video.
Expected October 17th, price unknown.
