Fixing the iPod’s “0 Songs” problem
Fixing the iPod’s ‘0 Songs’ problem: has happened to me too, after using EphPod. It seems the problem lives on the iPod_ControliTunes directory. Rename iTunesDB to iTunesDB.bak and iTunesDB.old to iTunesDB, disconnect your iPod from the computer, enjoy.

I don’t have an itunesDB.old file on the ipod – why not? Although I can still see the music on my ipod… it is just not recognised.

Does this work for a Mac? If not, how can I fix this on a Mac?
