Dell DJ Satellite revealed
Dell’s latest DJ offering is an MP3 player with sat radio functionality. We had reported on this coming two months ago. You’ll be able to sync it to XM content when you plug it in the dock—no onboard receiver for you a la Samsung neXus XM and the Sirius S50, and with the RIAA bitchin’ about even the current crappy setup, we wouldn’t hope for one soon. There’s a 30GB hard drive inside that thing, which in Dell-speak is enough for 30000 tunes (in Apple-speak this translates to 60GB—guess which one seems more realistic…).
Anyway, we dig the sleek design, which is a welcome change from the lame looking DJ Ditty.
There’s talk about a pink version coming too (insert “pink is the new black” comment here) apart from the standard black one. Orbitcast has more [via].
It’ll set you back $300, in due time for the holidays.
