The Gmini XS 100 gets a color 1.5-inch OLED display and a 4GB hard drive. The miniscule player (measures 9.1×4.3×1.4 cm.—weighs 80 gr.) sports a 14-hour battery life and features support for music subscription services. It is expected in May for $150, according to the company’s press release.

CNET Asia reviews the Archos AV500 mobile DVR: 100GB of video goodness, rate 8.3/10 (excellent). This is no iPod video, in that it’s bigger and much more powerful thanks to its recording options. We had reported on some picture of this device two months ago.
Review: Archos AV700: they give it the thumbs up with a 4/5 rating, but do keep in mind that it’s huge and pricey (with nice recording options though).
Archos’ huge PVP (weighs 107×209×19mm, measures 590g) comes in 40GB and 100GB versions. When connected to the TV docking pod (included), it can record video from TV and DVDs (copy-protected ones even, since it’s Macrovision compliant) using the built-in scheduler utility.
