Review: SanDisk Sansa e270: I had high hopes for this player (first presented at CES 2006) and I’m not really disappointed. CNET’s giving it an “excellent” nod along with a 8/10 rating.

Drawbacks: buttons surrounding the scrollwheel are a bit difficult to use, low system noice be heard through headphones at low volume levels (?!), photos [...]

The dutch company presented the GoGear HDD1850 during this year’s CES, The model will probably replace the 6GB HD-based HDD1630. CES 2006: SanDisk e200 series aims Apple’s Nano

SanDisk presented the e200 series which is clearly aiming the Nano market. SanDisk’s vice president and general manager, Nelson Chan, said: “Ultimately, we would like to make this a two horse race, and reach 35-40 percent market share.”

Spec-wise, they seem to outperform Apple’s offering. There’s MP3/WMA support as well as support for music subscription [...]
