NW-E407 → Walkman Core
NW-E307 → Walkman Circ
NW-E107 → Walkman Bean

I hope other companies follow that way too—if the product’s name is stupid, how are the people supposed to discuss it?

Sony’s latest Walkman debuts at lower price: all of the 512MB/1GB/2GB models cost at least ¥5,200 (~$45) lower than estimated. We presented the new WALKMAN line-up back in September.

The 2GB NW-A608 goes for ¥23,800-26,800 (~ $200-225) compared to Sony’s announced ¥32,000 (~ $270). A 2GB iPod nano costs from Apple and around ¥20,000-21,800 (~ [...]

The sleeping, bleeding giant who can’t sleep at night because of a four letter word, unveiled a new line-up of MP3 players under the name “WALKMAN” (yep, all capital letters).
